fso-gpsd software package provides gpsd subset compatibility daemon for the freesmarpthone.org frameworkd, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fso-gpsd
fso-gpsd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fso-gpsd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fso-gpsd *
You will get with fso-gpsd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
